Avoiding Holiday Weight Gain

In many parts of the country, the holidays occur wile the outdoor temperatures plunge. When it gets cold, it gets increasingly difficult to walk past that plate of cookies (flour plus fat) or to forgo the gravy bowl (more flour plus fat!).
